Kashiwa Kiln (Seto City, Aichi Prefecture) was a pottery that Lisa Larson met when she visited Japan in the 1950s. Lisa was impressed by the combination of red clay and glaze, casting method and reduced firing, which was created by the founder of Kashiwa Kiln. Twenty years later, in 1983, Lisa's work was to be manufactured by Kashiwa Kiln. The project produced egg cups and butter cases, but all of them were exported abroad and not released in Japan.
