The wildness of the ancient Iga style, which can be said to be Ito Kei's uniqueness, is I feel that it is an expressive work. I think this is a very rare item nowadays. I have two of my own and have them listed separately. After graduating from Yokkaichi Prefectural Technical High School, he pursued the technique of (beating) the works of ancient Iga style using Shigaraki soil, and entered the world of pottery making. He was selected for the 3rd Japan Ceramic Exhibition in 1975, and has since been selected for six consecutive times. He was selected for the 23rd Traditional Crafts Exhibition in 1976, and has since been selected for nine consecutive times. During this time, he has been selected for the Chunichi International Ceramic Exhibition eight times and seven times at the Asahi Ceramic Exhibition. He received the Encouragement Award at the 4th Chunichi International Ceramics Exhibition. He also won three awards at the Tokai Traditional Crafts Exhibition. He was a full member of the Japan Crafts Association in 1979. Starting this year, he will hold a total of 20 solo exhibitions in Nagoya, Gifu, Oita, and other locations, including the Inui Gallery in Akasaka, Yamato in Kanazawa, and Kintetsu department stores in Yokkaichi. In 1983, he received the Chunichi Shimbun Award at the 35th Mie Prefectural Art Exhibition. He won the Grand Prize at the 36th Mie Prefectural Art Exhibition for his "Battle Bowl" which makes full use of the technique of (Battle) and was awarded the Grand Prize at the 36th Mie Prefectural Art Exhibition. ■Keiho Kiln The late Ito Kei, who uses a wood-fired kiln, set up a "Keiho Kiln" in Komono, hoping to have an environment where the smoke coming from the pottery would not cause any trouble for nearby residents. Nowadays, ceramic artists and artists such as Banko ware who agree with Mr. Ito have gathered together to form the pottery village of Komono Ceramic Village. ☆美品☆ 希少 圭峰窯 古伊賀風 伊藤圭 湯呑茶碗 (A) ※コースターは非売品です ※中古品です 圭峰窯 伊藤圭の信楽焼茶碗です。 伊藤圭らしさとも言える古伊賀風の荒々しさが 表現された作品かと感じます。 今となってはかなり希少な一品かと思います。 2つ所有しているものを分割して出品しています。 現品のみ(箱その他付属なし)での出品につきご注意下さい。 ※写真に写りこんでいる備品は付属しません 全体としてはワレ、カケ、キズは見当たりません。 全体的に焼け焦げた様な跡がありますが、 焼き上がり時の釉薬のヤケでありヨゴレではありません。 内側にはうっすらと使用感があります。 個人検品、個人出品である点をご理解の上、 ご検討よろしくお願いいたします。 検品につきましては見解の相違はあるかと存じます。 お受け取りになってからがっかりというのは最も避けたいです。 掲載写真をご確認いただき 気がかりな点などお気軽にコメントにて お問い合わせ頂けますと大変嬉しいです。 ■伊藤圭 いとうけい 生没年 1937-1999 略歴 1937年四日市市に生まれる。 県立四日市工業高校卒業後、信楽の土を使って古伊賀風の作品を噛み合わせた(叩き)の技法を追求し、作陶の世界に入る。 1975年第3回日本陶芸展に入選し、以後6回連続して入選する。 1976年第23回伝統工芸展に入選し、以後9回連続して入選する。 この間、中日国際陶芸展に8回入選、朝日陶芸展に7回入選する。第4回中日国際陶芸展で奨励賞を受ける。また東海伝統工芸展でも3度受賞する。 1979年日本工芸会正会員。この年より東京赤坂の乾ギャラリー、金沢の大和、四日市の近鉄百貨店をはじめとして、主として名古屋、岐阜、大分などで計20回の個展を開催する。 1983年第35回三重県美術展覧会で中日新聞社賞を受ける。 (叩き)の技法を駆使した「叩き鉢」によって、第36回三重県美術展覧会で最優秀賞を受ける。 ■圭峰窯 薪の窯を使う故伊藤圭氏が、陶房から出る煙が近隣住民の迷惑にならない環境を求め菰野に「圭峰窯」を構えました。今では、伊藤氏に賛同する作陶家や萬古焼などの芸術家が集い、陶芸の村「菰野陶芸村」を形成しています。今なお現役の12連登り窯は一見の価値ありです。 #圭峰窯 #古伊賀風 #伊藤圭
