Randy Rose is a young genius guitarist who fell in love with Ozzy Osbourne, the king of metal, for his beautiful phrasing with roots in classical music and heavy sound. Having left behind just two albums, he left behind and even after he set out to heaven at the young age of 25, the guitar riffs he played remained deeply in the history of metal. The pedals that were essential to Randy's guitar sound are nothing more than the "MXR Distortion+" that he has loved throughout his life. The pedalboard, which was first released by Randy's family in 42 years, features the Distortion+ he used while in service, and was fortunate to have passed on to our MXR development team. The MXR examined this historic pedal down to the smallest detail and managed to get to the secrets of Randy's sound at the time.
