The case has been replaced with a new one. This is an adaptation of the theatrical anime adaptation of the most popular four-panel comic artist Ueda Masashi's masterpiece. Furiten is an employee of the Otokoke Company and loves mahjong and horse racing. But he's in good shape and a bit of a nasty personality. Furiten-kun travels back in time to the Edo period, tries all kinds of sports, dates his girlfriend Ikue, is chased by robbers, and aims to possess him as a fool with mahjong and gambling...it's just a mess.　 In the 21st century, the film was based on a gag manga that was so popular that it could even be pachinko, and the main film was created in a format where a series of short stories were shown together. Produced by "Greuser X" and "Oh! It is one of the few theatrical anime produced by the company, which is the NAC for Family. Furiten-kun's voice actor was handled by multi-talented Chikada Haruo. When it first appeared, it was screened at the same time as the animated film "Jarinko Chie."
