The first RPG from the Mario series is back. The origins of the Mario RPG series have been revamped on the Nintendo Switch for the first time in 27 years, with a completely new graphics. ■Mario heads to Bowser Castle to save Peach, who was kidnapped. I've defeated Bowser and feel at ease! Just as I was thinking this, a huge sword suddenly fell from the sky. The sword strode to Bowser Castle, and Mario, who was blown away by the impact, decides to go searching for Peach again. Along the way, Mario learns that Star Lord, which grants people's wishes, is destroyed by a sword stabbing Bowser Castle, and that fragment, Star Piece, has been scattered all over the world. With encouraging friends they meet on their journey, they begin an adventure to gather star pieces and bring back a peaceful world where wishes come true. ■Use Jump to adventure the field. Use Mario's speciality, "Jump" action, to explore various fields and dungeons as you use the mechanisms. ■Friends who adventure with Mario "Maro" with the fluffy body of a self-proclaimed frog, "Gino" the heavenly messenger who visits Mario World to regain Starpiece, and Bowser and Peach, who are well-known in the Mario series, join together on their adventures. ■Action Command Battle is a type of action that involves timing when attacking or defending using action commands. When you are fighting a monster, if your action command is decided, you can attack all monsters and reduce the damage taken to zero. From this game, if successive action commands are successful, the "chain" will connect, and the abilities of allies will improve, making battles an advantage. Until you get used to it, you will also receive a support that will give you a "!" mark at the right time. Also, every successful action command will accumulate a gauge. Once this gauge reaches 100%, the three players in the battle can now join forces and launch special "three-person moves." ■Additional elements After the ending, you can have a rematch with some of the bosses you encounter during the adventure. All of the bosses who fight rematch have been powered up to the point that it's not easy to do. In addition, a "Monster List" has been added, where various information is recorded when fighting monsters, and a "sound player" where you can listen to the background music for both the Super Nintendo Switch version at any time.
