The Offspring 「Greatest Hits」

Long before the drama The OC, Orange County has had an offspring. Two high school friends from Orange County formed in 1984 after a live show at Irvine by local legendary Social Distortion. Two of their friends, who released six albums and sold 32 million copies in nearly 20 years, are still excited to see their expectations, including vocal and guitarist Dexter Holland and bassist Greg K, who also classmate (and school janitor) guitarist Noodles. Greatest Hits brings together some of their most memorable moments. Includes "Hit That," "The Kids Aren't Alright," and the hit song Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)."

ドラマ『The OC』のずっと前から、オレンジ・カウンティにはオフスプリングが存在した。オレンジ・カウンティのハイスクール友達ふたりが、地元の伝説ソーシャル・ディストーションによるアーヴァインでのライヴ後の84年に結成。20年近くの間に6枚のアルバムを出し、3200万枚を売りあげたその友達ふたりのヴォーカル兼ギター、デクスター・ホーランドとベースのグレッグ・K、それにやはりクラスメイト(そして学校の用務員)ギタリストのヌードルズは今でも期待に応えてくれている。『Greatest Hits』は彼らのもっとも記憶に残る瞬間の一部を集めたもの。「Hit That」、「The Kids Aren't Alright」、そして大ヒット曲のPretty Fly (For A White Guy)」を収録。
