This is an early model, highest quality gold sound box made by SONORA. Sonora was founded in October 1914 in New York, USA with the catchphrase "A sound as clear as a bell." It became an early gold sound box around 1914-1917, and is as valuable as the Victor Orthoponic early brass sound box! Many of the early gramophones from the American gramophone manufacturers at the time (from 1910) were compatible with European-spec Twisted SP records, and if you install this Sonora Sound Box on the Sonora gramophone at the time, you can play Twisted and lateral vibration SP records. Sonora is an American gramophone manufacturer, but it was released with confidence after repeated experiments in Switzerland, in search of sound quality that surpassed the world's highest sound quality at the time, and was released with confidence!
