This pot was used in the Himachal region of India. Apparently they had ghee (butter oil) and other ingredients in it. The wood was said to be forest wood, but it is a practical tool, and it is believed to have been made each time from wood felled from nearby forests. It is well-used and has a nice woody texture. It has a foreign atmosphere, yet has a calm atmosphere that blends in with modern interiors.
