Geeks Rule toho Mecha Series Silkscreen Printing T Shirt The Illustration T -shirt of "Toho Mecha Series" is sold in limited quantities at the Wonder Festival 2024 Summer ATAC booth! Collaboration project between Toho special effects work and one festival at Wonder Festival 2024 [Summer] to be held on Sunday, July 28 [Toho Special effects Wonder Festival] We sell silk skirts T -shirts using the illustration "Toho Mecha Series" drawn by Hideaki Anno. This illustration was drawn around 1985 for the product of the legendary science fiction specialty store "General Products", and made T -shirts using this material currently saved at ATAC. In order to reproduce the small dots with detailed drawing and screen tones, the craftsmen printed one by one by hand, dealing with the ink clogging with a high -mesh silk screen.

GEEKS RULE TOHO MECHA SERIES SILKSCREEN PRINTING T SHIRT 「東宝メカシリーズ」のイラストTシャツがワンダーフェスティバル2024夏 ATACブースにて数量限定で販売！ 7月28日(日)に開催されるワンダーフェスティバル2024[夏]での東宝特撮作品とワンフェスとのコラボ企画【東宝特撮ワンダーフェスティバル】にて、認定NPO法人アニメ特撮アーカイブ機構(ATAC)理事長の庵野秀明氏が描いたイラスト「東宝メカシリーズ」を使用したシルクスクリーンプリントTシャツを販売いたします。このイラストは、伝説のSF専門店「ゼネラルプロダクツ」の商品用に1985年ごろ描き下ろされたもので、現在ATACで保存しているこの資料を活用し、Tシャツを製作しました。 細かな作画表現やスクリーントーンが貼られた極小ドットを可能な限り再現すべく、ハイメッシュのシルクスクリーンでインクの目詰まりを対処しながら、職人が一点ずつ手刷りでプリントを行いました。
