Cork is carefully grown evergreen cork oak for 100 to 200 years, and grows the bark grown in about every nine years, like shearing sheep. Without cutting down on your mind, it will not impair the absorption capacity of CO2 (carbon dioxide), which is a major contributor to prevent global warming. That's why cork is a material that is gentle on the earth. This is a Made in Japan product, which is made by block molding the cork grains in Japan and carefully processed and finished by Japanese craftsmen. Of course, we use the same materials as corks that have been proven for many years and are used for wine stoppers. We have created this product that children can enjoy with peace of mind, while still retaining the wonderful properties of light, soft, and warm cork material.
