■■■Product description■■■ [Reference] Tamasui Okada Japanese painter. Shijo school. Masashige Kusunoki A military commander from the end of the Kamakura period to the Nanbokucho period. During the Genko War (1331-1333), he worshiped Emperor Go-Daigo and collaborated with Imperial Prince Daitonomiya Moriyoshi to attract a large shogunate army to Chihaya Castle in the Battle of Chihaya Castle, provoking rebellion throughout Japan. He contributed to the overthrow of the Kamakura Shogunate. Also, under the Kenmu Restoration, he was appointed as a member of the Record Office, the highest political institution, and assisted the Emperor along with Takauji ASHIKAGA and others. After Takauji rebelled during the Engen Rebellion, he took part in the army of the Southern Court along with Yoshisada Nitta and Akiie Kitabatake, but he was defeated by Takauji's army at the Battle of Minatogawa and committed suicide.
